Any silk will readily accept the textile paints. However, higher quality silk will reflect the paints colors better than lower quality silk fibers. Textured or slub woven silk will require subtle coloration due to the uneven surfaces. Combine the paints with the 'Colorhue' to completely change the former color and patterning of a recycled silk garment.

Also, 'Lumiere/Neopaque' paints provide color for all textiles whether the fabric be natural fiber, synthetic, or fabric blends (including leather) but do require heat setting to promise permanent coloration. Update an aging wardrobe or 'add pizzazz' to home decor items.

These paints are effective on glass, paper, wood and paint canvases, however, requiring different application procedures. They are also very effective for wall stenciling or the popular floor cloths.
