TIRE Variegated Silk Thread TIARA The variegated silk thread are the latest addition to the TIRE line of silk thread. TIARA has a soft glaze appearance and is readily recognized as silk, not a synthetic fiber. Each spool will have 5 blended colors within a 8 inch span, consistently dyed by machine. There are 8 spools in gradation values of one color for subtle shading. The other 16 spools have light and dark multi color combination for color division. TIARA is a 50 silk weight thread, exactly the same silk weight as the Machine Twist but offers the excitement of subtle color variations. It is a fantastic choice for stock and expanded machine embroidery stitches. And when paired with patterned and colored fabrics for applique applications, it can literally disappear. TIARA Promises to have some interesting versatility. SOIE ET Another variegated 3 ply silk thread for hand sewing and bobbin work for the sewing machine and its colors are so soft and mostly pastel, in nature. It is easily divisible to one strand and is perfect for so many hand sewing and embellishment tasks. The hand dyed silk thread has gradation of color about every 5 inches.

Another exciting addition to the TIRE line of silk thread. In contrast to the TIARA variegated machine sewing thread, this is a HAND STITCHING silk thread that can be compared to a silk floss type of thread/yarn. The soft and mostly pastel colors are in great contrast to the other highly twisted TIRE silk threads and each spool contains gradated color every 5 inches. The SOIE ET can be divided into 3 separate strands and is a high quality spun silk. It is a wonderful 'passing thread' for fabric embellishment, embroidery and ornamentation purposes. It can be used effectively as machine bobbin thread for such things as punch needle techniques.
