This is one of the latest addition to the silk thread line of TIRE. Upon examination we began to realize the soft loft of this Quilter Silk thread makes it perfect as a hand and/or machine quilting thread. It is closest to a floss silk thread, we have ever encountered, but it is still a filament silk. This is the thickest thread we have found to work on the sewing machine and it is gorgeous when seen as a machine top stitching thread. But it also performs admirably as a hand sewing thread.
